Kremsleithen & Braunsdorfer
At the foot of the south-facing terraced site Kremsleithen, the river "Krems" runs into the Kremstal. The soil is very stony and enormous rock formations often appear. The parent material for the soil is gneiss and mica schist lying side by side in a small space. This is why mainly Riesling is grown in this part of the Kremsleithen. The Braunsdorfer site lies directly behind the Steiner Hund site. As it is still somewhat higher and cooler and features steep slate terraces, it produces particularly mineral wines.
